To push creative thinking and get out of the daily business, my creative partner, Alice Vaxelaire, and I joined Young Glory. A worldwide creativity competition devoted to awarding creative consistency, here students and young professionals compete in monthly briefs by different industry leaders.
There are approximately 7 million blind people in Indonesia. Over half of these people suffer from a certain type of blindness - cataracts. In most cases, cataracts are curable and fortunately, there are a number of foundations working towards treating preventable blindness. Our task was to think of a way to get everyone who has some money, to give that money to these foundations.
When 50% of the population is not able to access the same opportunities as the other 50%, 50% of every country around the world is held back. As humanity stands currently, we are a mere half of everything we could be. Focus on the solution, not the problem, and help people recognize and change the everyday sexism they encounter, endure, or (wittingly/unwittingly) promote.
